Tasks:

Development and implementation of a global logistics and supply chain strategy
Leading People at several locations as well as in GBS (Global Business Services)
Management and coaching of international logistics and supply chain teams
Management of global process experts and logistics engineers
Responsibility for projects, milestones, and continuous process improvements
Close cooperation with suppliers and logistics service providers worldwide
Monitoring of KPIs (delivery performance, inventories, transport costs) and escalation management
Promoting digitalization, automation, and innovation in all logistics processes
Ensuring uniform standards and cost optimization worldwide
Managing transport, freight, and inventory strategies on a global level
Responsibility for international customs and compliance requirements

Your Strengths:

Degree in logistics, business administration, engineering, or a comparable field
Several years of international management experience in logistics/supply chain, ideally in the automotive industry
In-depth knowledge of transport, warehouse, and supply chain management as well as logistics software (SAP is an advantage)
Very good English skills (C1), other foreign languages are an advantage
Analytical and strategic thinking, strong communication skills and confident manner
Willingness to travel extensively and intercultural competence
